Martynov is a crater in the Argyre quadrangle on Mars, located at 30.36° south latitude and 37.41° west longitude. It is 110.6 km in diameter and was named after Dmitry Yakovlevich Martynov, a Russian astronomer (1906–1989). The name was accepted by the IAU on July 15, 2013.[1] The northernmost part of the crater along with much of the northern rim is in the Margaritifer Sinus quadrangle (or Margaritifer).

West of the crater rim is encircled by Uzboi Vallis which makes up a part of the Uzboi-Landon-Morava (ULM) system.

Nearby named craters include Zilair to the southeast, and Bond to the south. The smaller Luki crater is to the northwest across the valley. North of the crater is Surinda Valles, a valley to the east of Uzboi Vallis.
