Da Vinci is an impact crater in the Oxia Palus quadrangle of Mars, located at 1.4°N latitude and 39.4°W longitude. It measures 100.2 kilometers in diameter and was named after Leonardo da Vinci. The naming was approved by the International Astronomical Union in 1973.[1]

The crater is inside Xanthe Terra and is in the range of the middle and southern part but the southeast rim touches to a canyon connected to the planet's deepest canyon system. Further south and east is Hydraotes Chaos. Also to the south are Ravi Vallis and Oxia Chaos. Nearby named craters include Chimbote to the south, the Camiling to the southeast, Dia-Cau to the west-southwest and Rypin nearly to the south-southwest. South of the crater, is the boundary with the Margaritifer Sinus region (or Margaritifer) along with those craters there.

In the crater's south is a smaller unnamed crater with a small central hill inside.
