Adams Crater is an impact crater in the Cebrenia quadrangle of Mars, located at 31.1°N latitude and 197.0°W longitude. It is 94.9  km in diameter and was named after Walter Sydney Adams, and the name was approved in 1973 by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) Working Group for Planetary System Nomenclature (WGPSN).[1]

Adams Crater is located in the area where craters are not as numerous to that of the Martian Southern Hemisphere as it sits in the relatively young northern hemisphere. West of the crater are the volcanic features of Elysium Mons and Hecates Tholus.

West of Adams is the southern end of Phlegra Montes. One nearby crater is named Lockyer and is located southwest in the Elysium quadrangle.
