Kuiper is an impact crater in the Phaethontis quadrangle of Mars, located at 57.4°S latitude and 157.3°W longitude. It is 87.0 kilometers in diameter and was named after Gerard Peter Kuiper, and the name was approved in 1976.[1]
Nearby prominent named craters include Nordenskiöld to the north, Millman to the northeast, Wright to the east southeast and the Keeler-Trumpler crater pair to the southeast.
