Peridier is an impact crater on Mars, located in the Syrtis Major quadrangle at 25.7°N latitude and 276.2°W longitude. It measures 100 kilometers in diameter and was named after French electrical engineer and amateur astronomer Julien Peridier. The naming was approved by IAU's Working Group for Planetary System Nomenclature in 1973.[1]

Peridier is inside the planet's largest plain and basin containing a few large craters, just located east of the midland and higher portion of the planet which that portion is more cratered. Peridier is mostly surrounded with Arena Colles to the west. Further west of the crater is Nili Fossae and further east is Utopia Rupes.
