Phoenix mayoral special election, 2018

The 2018 Phoenix mayoral special election will take place in November 2018, to elect the Mayor of Phoenix, Arizona. The election is officially nonpartisan, all candidates will run on the same ballot. If no candidate reaches 50% of the vote, a runoff election will be held between the top two finishers.[1]
Incumbent mayor Greg Stanton announced that he is running for United States Congress,[2] and resigned effective May 29, 2018, thus triggering a special election to be scheduled.

- Daniel Valenzuela, Former Phoenix City Councilman, District 5 [7] (Democratic)[8]
