Hardoi is a village in the Uttar Pradesh's Saifai tehsil of Etawah district. Etawah and Saifai are the district & tehsil headquarters of Hardoi village respectively. As per 2009 stats, it is a gram panchayat.[1]
Census 2011
According to Census 2011, Hardoi is a large village located in Etawah district, Uttar Pradesh with total 962 families residing. The Saifai village has population of 5,685 of which 3,073 are males while 2,612 are females as per Population Census 2011.[1]

Airport
There is an airstrip situated at Hardoi village of Saifai tehsil known as Saifai airstrip. This airstrip was defunct, but is being repaired during the governorship of the Samajwadi Party. The airport has only unscheduled chartered flights.
In 2015, Mirage 2000 aircraft of Indian Air Force have been operating from the airstrip, testing grounds for possible development of this airport in case of emergency, like a war.[2]
