Monterrubio de la Sierra is a village and municipality in the province of Salamanca, western Spain, part of the autonomous community of Castile-Leon. It is located 27 kilometres (17 mi) from the provincial capital city of Salamanca and has a population of 169 people.[1]

Geography

The municipality covers an area of 35 km2 (14 sq mi). It lies 967 metres (3,173 ft) above sea level and the post code is 37788.[1]
