Périers [peʁ.je] is a commune in the Manche department in Normandy in north-western France.
History
Périers was liberated by the 2nd Battalion, 359th Infantry Regiment, 90th Division, of the United States Army, on July 27, 1944.[1]

The arms of Périers are blazoned : Argent, a pear tree eradicated vert and in base a barrulet gules, overall on a bend azure between 2 lions sable, 3 mullets pierced (spur-rowels) Or. |
