Hamre is a village located in Pattan Tehsil of Baramulla district.It has a Railway Station. There is also one Electricity Receiving station located in this village which provides electricity to various neighboring villages. As being situated near highway it has importance as it has a main road which connects highway with Ladakh that passes through Hamray.
