Aliganj is a town and a municipal board in Etah district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Mahfooz Ali khan Ex agriculture chairman and Ex member of parliament belonged to the city

Aliganj is located at 27°30′N 79°11′E / 27.5°N 79.18°E / 27.5; 79.18.[1] It has an average elevation of 154 metres (505 ft). The nearest city to Aliganj are Sarai aghat, Etah, Khair, Kaimganj, Farrukhabad, Aligarh.
