The Second Union School is a historic Rosenwald school building for African-American children in Goochland, Goochland County, Virginia. It was built in 1918, as a two-teacher school. It is a one-story, two-room, weather-boarded school with a hipped slate roof. It is set on a foundation of 18 concrete piers. The school closed in 1959, and it was subsequently used for Sunday school and Bible school classes by the neighboring Second Union Church.[3]

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.[1]

In 2016, Virginia Association of Museums recognized the school as a museum.  Currently, Second Union (Rosenwald) School Museum and the Goochland County public Schools work together by aligning the SOLs with the museum’s history. The museum is open to the public. [4]
