Sahpau is a town and a nagar panchayat in Hathras district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Sahpau had a population of 7,965, with males constituting 54% of the population and females 46%.Sahpau's average literacy rate of 57% is lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 69%, and female literacy is 44%. 17% of the population is under 6 years of age.
Distance of Sahpau from Delhi is 190 Kilometers and from Agra 38 kilometers and from Hathras(District) 28 kilometers.
There are two intermediate colleges in sahpau named Janta inter college and M.L inter college, There is also A local cricket stadium named Hanuman Tella.
Sahpau is also known for the goddess Devi Maa Bhadrakaali who, according to popular legends, turned the whole BARAAT of a girl in to stone.
