Reotipur is a village located in the Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh, India.[3] Reotipur is a large village located in Zamania tehsil of Ghazipur district, Uttar Pradesh with total 3457 families residing. The Reotipur village has population of 26597(2011 population census).[4] This village is very old, believed to be established somewhere around 14th century.Many people consider this village as the largest in asia.

Administration

Reotipur village is administrated by Gram Panchayat through its Pradhan who is elected representative of village. Reotipur is the largest Gram Panchayat of Ghazipur district. The town was listed under Ambedkar gram yojna by the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mayawati, and hence was granted special privileges for its development program. Extensive construction and maintenance work was undertaken with the revamp of old roads with concrete ones and construction of many new routes.

There is one very old temple of Bhagawati Mai in Reotipur. Bhagawti Mai is Kuldevi of 'Sakarwar Bhumihars'.[5][6]Raghunandan Brahma Baba temple is one of the most visited temple of Reotipur.[7][8]
