Kizilsu Kyrgyz Autonomous Prefecture is an autonomous prefecture of China. It is located in the western part of Xinjiang. The prefecture has an area of 69,112 km2 (26,684 sq mi) and its capital is Artux. Kizilsu in the Kyrgyz language means “red water”.
