Zepu County (Chinese: 泽普县) as the official romanized name, also transliterated from Uyghur as Poskam County (Uyghur: پوسكام ناھىيىسى ; Chinese: 泽普勒善县) the former longer Chinese name as well, is a county in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and is under the administration of the Kashgar Prefecture. It contains an area of 985 km2 (380 sq mi). According to the 2002 census, it has a population of 180,000.

Tourism

A tourist attraction located in the county is Jinhuyang National Forest Park, rated as a AAAAA Tourist Attractions of China according to the official classification for tourist sights.[1]

Transportation

Poksam is served by China National Highway 315 and the Kashgar-Hotan Railway.
