Suriyawan is a town and a nagar panchayat in Sant Ravidas Nagar district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.Suriyawa is one of the six block of Bhadohi district.It is 20 km away from Bhadohi and easily accessible from Allahabad and Varanasi. Suriyawa is a famous local market. It is 8.7 km away from Durgaganj bazar.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Suriyawan had a population of 17,014. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. In Suriyawan, 17% of the population is under 6 years of age. Suriyawa railway station is near Janghai railway station, 10 km. away. Bhadohi is 19.8 km away from Suriyawa and connected by trains and buses.
