Sarai Mir is a town and a Nagar Panchayat in Azamgarh district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is well known as Chhoti Dubai also many village attach like Rasoolpur, Basti, Bakhra, Sikraur sahbari, Sahpur, Kadanpati, Beenapara, Manjeerpatti, Jagdishpur, Pawai ladpur, Rajapur sikraur, israuli koruli, Khankah, Dostpur, Khanpur etc.

As of 2001 India census,[1] Saraimir had a population of 15,526. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Saraimir has an average literacy rate of 58%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 64%, and female literacy is 52%. In Saraimir, 21% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Activities :

The town is situated in the district of Azamgarh in the indian state of Uttar Pradesh which is widely known as the "Bhai chara location".

Problems:

There is no industrialization in that area.People here are depends only on farming & dairy products business.Irrigation facility is also not so good for agriculture.Government is failed to provide the basic facility to the people.The politician only make the fake commitment to the people while campaigning for election.The whole grain collection is only to run the family ,not for exports because of small-area fields and poor water facility.The Rivers,Ponds,Lakes are dry in summer & winter.The Indian Gov. should look after the conditions of the villages and take the necessary action against the politician.Why the other states of India having the electricity 24 hrs but here only for few hours.Roads condition is so bad that potholes only seen while travelling.Hospitals & Doctors are less in numbers.There is no investors who is taking interest to open the Industries or Real state businesses here.People migrated to other states for earning their bread & butter.
