Nawabganj is a town and a nagar panchayat in Unnao district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

As of 2001 India census, Nawabganj had a population of 9,837. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Nawabganj has an average literacy rate of 56%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 62%, and female literacy is 49%. In Nawabganj, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.[1]

Tourist Place

In Nawabganj town a Bird Sanctuary present on Lucknow Kanpur Highway known as Nawabganj Bird Sanctuary, Later in 2015 Sanctuary renamed and called as Shahid Chandra Shekhar Azad Bird Sanctuary (SABS). SABS consisting of a beautiful lake and surrounded by very greenesh Environment and show his nature beauty. In this place SABS provides protection of flora and fauna. Migratory Bird seen easily in this place. This place also houses a deer park, watchtowers and boats.
