Oil-fired

As of 2015, there are three plants producing 28MW of power. All three plants are located in the South-West corner of Utah. There have been five plants shutdown in the last 20 years.[10]

Nuclear plants

Although there are currently no nuclear power stations in Utah, the Blue Castle Project is working through the process of building the state's first nuclear power plant near Green River, Utah. It is projected to be completed in 2030.[21]
