Deepak New Holland is a social welfare group in Dadri

Dadri is a town and a municipal board in Gautam Buddha Nagar District in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

Dadri was ruled by Bhati kings of gurjar clan and this is why the area of dadri and its surrounding like sikandrabad and gautam budh nagar is known as Bhatner (land of bhatis).

This small town received nationwide media coverage in 2015 due to a disturbing incident in form of 2015 Dadri mob lynching.[1]Dadri Railway Station is a complex yard in North Central Railway spread over six kilometers on busiest route of Delhi-Howrah Section of Indian Railways and also having connectivity with National Thermal Power Corporation Power Plant and Container Depot.[2] Fauji Ravinder station road is near Dadri Railway station, where Deepak New Holland is existing. Dadri is located at 28°33′00″N 77°33′11″E / 28.550°N 77.553°E / 28.550; 77.553. It has an average elevation of 216 metres (709 ft).

Wetlands

Large swathes of Dadri have been classified as a wetland and is home to Blackbuck and Nilgai.[3] It is also home to a significant population of migratory birds coming from as far as Siberia and Europe.[4]

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[5] Dadri had a population of 57,457. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Dadri has an average literacy rate of 74%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 80% and, female literacy is 68%. In Dadri, 18% of the population is under 5 years of age.
