Lanefield is a suburb of Ipswich, Queensland, Australia. At the 2016 Australian Census the suburb recorded a population of 107.[1] The Main Line railway passes through Lanefield as does Western Creek, a tributary of the Bremer River.
History
Visual evidence of previous coal mining exists in the form of old workings throughout the area.[2]
