ISO-IR-197

ISO-IR-197 (proposed as ISO 8859-14 and later, ISO 8859-15) was proposed for the Sami languages in 1996, but that was eventually rejected, but sill exists as ISO-IR 197 . It is a slight modification of ISO 8859-1.[1][2][3]

Characters in columns 8 and 9 are found in PC and Windows implementations (just as they are for Latin 1) but are not part of the ISO-IR 197 character set.
