The 2015 Santiago South Super Cup was the 4th annual and a single knockout match featuring the winner of the 2014-15 regional championship Boavista FC, as the club was also the 2014-15 cup winner, runner up in the cup competition Académica da Praia competed.[1]

The super cup was played as did in the previous editions at Estádio da Várzea southwest of the city center of Praia.

The finals were televised and listened on radio on Rádio Praia. They were also listened throughout the island, Maio, Fogo and Brava from the same station.

The next super cup match took place in October 2017 as the following edition was canceled as the Boavista-Delta regional cup final which was to be played in May 2016 was not rescheduled until April 2017 and the super cup match with Desportivo da Praia, the 2016 regional champion, later rescheduled to be played for 2017 was not held.

Background

Boavista Praia never played a regional super cup match, Académica Praia last appeared in the competition in 2007, this edition became their second and recent for the club.[1]

Summary

No goals were scored during the first half. During the second half at the 72nd minute, Boavista Praia's Vika scored the match's only goal. Later, Boavista won their only super cup title for the south of Santiago.
