The 2015–16 CD Travadores season were in the island division of football (soccer). The club finished 7th after Os Garridos and ahead of Varanda with 16 points and 17 goals averaged less than one per match.[1]

The club also had 7 wins and draws and 8 losses, one position higher than last season and scored 26 goals, more than last season. Two other clubs shared 26 goals, Celtic and ADESBA, the three were behind Garridos and ahead of Eugênio Lima with 19.

Santiago Island League (South)

The 2015-16 season would almost have a bad start and from the fifth week did not exceed 7th place, their first match was on November 14,[2] the club made their next win at the championships in nine matches, the last win was being awarded 3-0 in a match with Sporting Praia on February 22, 2015, Travadores defeated their second major rival Boavista 0-1, it was their second time that they started the season with that club and this time as an away team. A scoreless draw was their next match with Vitória Praia. Travadores lost to their major rival Sporting 2-0, the club dropped to 8th. Travadores scored their next goal in nearly a month after defeating Os Garridos 2-1 and was 8th. Two draws followed with a goal each, first Celtic then Eugênio Lima. Travadores suffered a four game losing streak losing to ADESBA 2-4 on January 17, the next time they scored a goal was in the next four rounds, matches with Varanda, Desportivo and Académica Praia were lost without a goal, Travadores went down to 9th for the next three weeks and then 10th. Travadores scored the club's highest match defeating Delta 5-0. Travadores finished the remaining three game winning streak including Boavista on February 19 and Vitória on February 27. Travadores' positions bounced back to 8th then 7th which would remain for the rest of the season. Travadores yet again lost to Sporting Praia without a goal scored on March 5, the third loss to Sporting Praia. Another win over Os Garridos occurred after that. Travadores scored nothing for the next three matches, Travadores met with Celtic, this time with a 0-1 loss, Travadores had three consecutive draws next, the first two were scoreless. Travadores's final loss of the season was another to Desportivo Praia with a goal scored on April 22 and made it their fourth loss to that club at the championships. Travadores' final draw was on May 4 with Académica Praia with a goal each. The last match in a 1-3 victory over the weakest club Delta who was winless and kicked out the last place club into the Second Division.

Travadores has scored 16 goals at home and 10 goals away. The club also had four wins at home and three wins away.
