It was followed by a four match winning streak and defeated Académica Praia, Delta, Boavista and Vitória, after the second match, the club was first place until April 5. A scoreless draw with Sporting Praia was on March 13. Their next match was weeks later on April 2 as a round 17 match with Celtic and lost 2-0 to that club and ended their unbeaten streak, the club would be 3rd, the club did not return being first for the season again. Originally for March 25, the round 16 match was played on April 5 with Os Garridos and won 2-1 and the club became second. Two draws were followed, a scoreless draw with Travadores on April 10 then a goal draw with Eugênio Lima and their positions rose to second then dropped to fourth. The club's final win was on a match with Varanda which was 0-3 and scored its last goals of the season and threw that club to the Second Division the following season, the club would be second for the last time. ADESBA suffered two losses in its final matches of the season, the club lost to Desportivo on April 30 and Académica on May 8 and their positions dropped to fourth and the club finished fifth.
