The 2015–16 Académico 83 season were in the island division of football (soccer). The club won their seventh and recent Maio championship title and entered the 2016 Cape Verdean Football Championships in Group A.^[1]^[2]

The club had a total of 34 points (29 in the regionals and 5 in the nationals), and 39 goals (34 goals in the regionals and 5 goals in the nationals). In the regionals, the club also had 9 wins, 2 draws and a loss.

Maio Premier Division^[1]

It was the first season that was labelled the Premier Division. Like last season, they played with Académica from the west of the island and ended in a single goal draw.

The club finished as regional champion, and qualified for the last time into the national championships in May.^[3]

Maio (Djarmai) Super Cup
