"Our Brave and Noble King" (Persian: ای شاهِ غیور و مهربانِ ما, romanized: Šâhe Ğažur o Mehrabane Ma), also known as "Grand Salute" (Pashto: لوی سلام, romanized: Loya Salami) was the national anthem of the Kingdom of Afghanistan from 1943 to 1973.[1][2]

History
The national anthem was adopted in 1943 and replaced the previous royal anthem without a title or text. Because of her relation to the king, she was replaced after his fall in 1973.
