Dobropillia (Ukrainian: Добропілля, Russian: ДобропольеDobropolye) is a city of oblast significance in Donetsk Oblast (province) of Ukraine. It also serves as the administrative center of the Dobropillia Raion, though it does not belong to the raion.

Population: 40,064 (1989)[1]; 31,196 (2013)[2]; 30,186 (2017)[3]. Distance to Donetsk - 94 kilometres (58 mi).

On 13 June 2014, a civilian security guard was killed and two other civilians injured when rebel forces launched 26 grad rockets against a Ukrainian checkpoint in this town.
