Eduard Aleksandrovich Basurin[2] (Russian: Эдуард Александрович Басурин; born 27 June 1966) was Deputy Defence Minister and defence spokesman of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic.[3][4] In 2014 he served as a political commissar of the Kalmius Battalion.[1] On 11 September 2018 Donetsk People's Republic abolished the office of Defence Minister.[5]
