The arrondissement of Villefranche-sur-Saône is an arrondissement of France in the Rhône department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. On 1 February 2017, 78 communes passed from the arrondissement of Villefranche-sur-Saône to the arrondissement of Lyon. Since then, the arrondissement of Villefranche-sur-Saône covers 143 communes in the northern part of the department of Rhône.[1]
