Bandanpur has given notable people like JayantiPrasad Tiwari, Bandanpur has given Founder Jansewa Ashram School. Jayanti Prasad Tiwari (1925-28 March 1983) was a social activist from Uttar Pradesh. He was born in the village of Bandanpur, to a well-known Brahmin Tiwari family. At a young age, he moved to Ahmedabad in 1932 and worked with Rustom Cama, a famous name from Ahmedabad. He was unable to study during his childhood and as an adult he decided to open schools and universities in his home village. Fundraising has allowed the foundation of the Jan Sewa Ashram schools there.

Shringi Rishi performed 'Putrakameshti Yajya' for King Dashrath of Ayodhya, after that Lord Rama and his three brothers were born.
