Yamani Hafez bin Musa (Jawi: يامني هافيز بن موسى; born 29 September 1979) is a Malaysian politician. He is the Member of Parliament for Sipitang.

Personal life

Yamani is the son of former Chief Minister of Sabah Musa Aman.[1][2][3] He has an undergraduate degree of commerce from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand and master's degree in business administration from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).

Elections

2018 general election

In the 2018 election, his party of United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) field him to contest the Sipitang parliamentary seat despite his participation into politics are being opposed by his father.[1][2][3] He facing a new candidate Noor Hayaty Mustapha from the Sabah Heritage Party (WARISAN) and subsequently won.[4][5]
