Kota Kinabalu is a federal constituency in Sabah, Malaysia, that has been represented in the Dewan Rakyat from 1971 to 1974, from 2004 to present.

The federal constituency was created in the 1966 redistribution and is mandated to return a single member to the Dewan Rakyat under the first past the post voting system.

History

It was abolished in 1974 when it was redistributed. It was re-created in 2003.

2004–2016: The constituency contains the polling districts of Bandar Utara, Bandar Selatan, Likas Barat, Likas, Likas Tengah, Likas Selatan, Likas Park, Dah Yeh Villa, Kampong Ayer, Jalan Istana, Jalan Kebajikan, Sunny Garden, Jalan Bandaran, Jalan Rumah Sakit, Luyang, Foh Sang, Jindo, Bukit Padang, Kepayan Ridge, Taman Fu Yun, Jalan Penampang.
