Cheras is a federal constituency in the Federal Territories, Malaysia, that has been represented in the Dewan Rakyat since 1995.
The federal constituency was created in the 1994 redistribution and is mandated to return a single member to the Dewan Rakyat under the first past the post voting system.
History
2004–2016: The constituency contains the polling districts of Jalan Pasar, Rumah Pangsa Loke Yew, Jalan San Peng, Kampong Loke Yew, Jalan Loke Yew, Pudu Hujung, Taman Mutiara Barat, Pudu Ulu, Jangan Sungai Besi, Jalan Cheras, Jalan Chan Sow Lin, Taman Miharja, Kampung Cheras Batu 4, Cheras Baru, Taman Midah Kanan, Taman Segar, Taman Midah Kiri, Taynton View, Bukit A Cheras Baru, Taman Shamelin Perkasa, Taman Cheras, Taman Desa Aman.
