The Second Beijing–Tianjin intercity railway, BeijingBinhai intercity railway, or Jingbin intercity railway, is a new high-speed railway located between the municipalities of Beijing and Tianjin. It will start at Beijing Sub-administrative Center railway station to Binhai railway station. The first half of this project will be built as part of the Beijing–Tangshan intercity railway until Baodi South railway station, where the line branches south along new trackage to Tianjin. Together with the Beijing-Tangshan ICR, this railways forms part of a proposed regional 4 North-South lines, 4 East-West lines that form a network for fast commuter services across Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. It is expected to be completed by 2019.[1]

Route

It starts at Beijing Sub-administrative Center railway station, which is located in Tongzhou District. And then it goes into Xianghe County, Hebei, and Baodi District, Tianjin. This project then deviates from Beijing-Tangshan ICR alignment to travel south through eastern Wuqing District, Ninghe District, Beichen District, Dongli District to a station at Tianjin Binhai International Airport until terminating in Binhai New Area.
