Carmarthenshire County Council election, 2017
An election to Carmarthenshire County Council was held on 4 May 2017 as part of wider local elections across Wales. The election was preceded by the 2012 election.[1]
Summary of results
Plaid Cymru won 36 of the 74 seats but fell short of an absolute majority.[2] A coalition with the Independent group maintained control of the authority.
