In the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the RM of Meeting Lake No. 466 recorded a population of 319 living in 138 of its 220 total private dwellings, a -15.2% change from its 2011 population of 376. With a land area of 1,066.74 km2 (411.87 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.3/km2 (0.8/sq mi) in 2016.[4]

In the 2011 Census of Population, the RM of Meeting Lake No. 466 recorded a population of 376, a -12.4% change from its 2006 population of 429. With a land area of 1,066.74 km2 (411.87 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.4/km2 (0.9/sq mi) in 2011.[8]

Government

The RM of Meeting Lake No. 466 is governed by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator that meets on the second Thursday of every month.[3] The reeve of the RM is Randy Aumack while its administrator is Janelle Lavallee.[3] The RM's office is located in Mayfair.[3]
