DZRR-TV, channel 3, is a commercial television station owned by ABS-CBN Corporation. Its studios are located at ABS-CBN Broadcast Center, #59 First Road, Quezon Hill Proper, Baguio City (relocated from the Lower Basement of CAP Building as the former address of the original station since the 2nd quarter of 2014), and transmitter is located at Mt. Sto. Tomas, Tuba, Benguet.

Branded as ABS-CBN Baguio, the station currently serves as the network's regional broadcast hub for the whole North Luzon market (consisting of its Cordillera main station, the North Central Luzon sub-market, and relay stations in the Ilocos and Cagayan Valley areas) since July 1, 2018.

History

• 1967 - ABS-CBN Baguio, the first television station of the network in Northern Luzon, was launched after it was merged with their former owners ABS and CBN. It was initially aired on TV-10 with a transmitting power of 500 watts.^[1]It is the TV counterpart to the now defunct DZBC AM radio station, which opened in 1964.
• 1969 - DZRI-TV 10 broadcasts the Seven Last Words from the Baguio Cathedral to viewers in Metro Manila and Pangasinan via microwave relay in what is considered the country's pioneer satellite broadcast.
• 1972 - During the declaration of Martial Law by then-President Ferdinand Marcos, and the takeover of ABS-CBN by his crony, Roberto Benedicto, DZRI-TV was shut down.
• 1974 - The operations of the closed down station was relaunched as the affiliate of Government Television (later Maharlika Broadcasting System, now People's Television Network), broadcasting programs from Manila, as well as occasional local content.
• September 1987 - With the network's revival, ABS-CBN took over DZRI-TV (one year after its re-opening alongside DWWX-TV channel 2 in Manila), changed its call letters to D-3-ZO-TV, and it became a relay station of ABS-CBN Channel 2 Manila. As Channel 10 became the local station for GMA in the province, the channel was relaunched on a new frequency, Channel 3, which was used formerly by MBS, PTV Baguio today broadcasts on Channel 8.
• 1988 - D-3-ZO-TV's Star Network ident, with a gold tri-ribbon channel 3 with a white star at the bottom tail, debuted.
• 1989 - D-3-ZO-TV 3 offically becomes a satellite relay station broadcasting programs from Channel 2 Manila to viewers in the Cordillera Administrative Region, La Union and Ilocos Sur.
• November 27, 1995 - D-3-ZO-TV changed its callsign to DZRR-TV, converted into an originating station as part of the preparations for the launch of the Regional Network Group.
• January 27, 1997 - TV Patrol North Luzon (originally named as TV Patrol Baguio and TV Patrol Northern Luzon in 1999) was launched, becoming the station's flagship newscast.
• July 2, 2018 - TV Patrol North Luzon was relaunched, which expands its broadcast reach from the Cordillera Administrative Region to viewers in Central Luzon, Ilocos Region and Cagayan Valley.

Rebroadcasters

TV-7 Laoag and TV-2 Isabela were formerly originating stations from 1997 until June 29, 2018 when its regional TV Patrol newscasts were merged to TV Patrol North Luzon with master control from the Baguio studios. However, these stations remain active, with local presentations retained for the pan-regional newscast. Until 2005 TV-3 Tugegarao was also an originating station when its operations and news service were unified with TV-2 Isabela.
