United States Attorneys appointed by Donald Trump

This is a list of United States Attorneys appointed by the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump.

As of August 28, 2018, President Trump has nominated 78 people to be U.S. Attorneys, and 70 of them have been confirmed. There are a total of 93 U.S. Attorneys in the Department of Justice.

A number of legal commentators have raised concerns that Trump has personally interviewed several of the candidates for the post, including some who would potentially have direct investigative and prosecutorial power over his business enterprises.[1]

On January 3, 2018, U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions appointed 17 people as interim U.S. Attorneys.[2] They will serve in the post for 120 days at which point they may be appointed to an indefinite term in office by a federal court.[3]
