Roots Millennium Schools is a part of Roots School System founded in 1988 by Mrs. Riffat Mushtaq. Roots millennium schools is established by her son Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq and is operating campuses in 20 cities of Pakistan.[1]

History

Roots Millennium Schools is an ISO 9001:2008 certified educational institute.[2] Mandarin is also taught at Roots Millennium Schools as Full Time course and is part of curriculum from grade 1 to 7 under a setup called 'Confucius Classroom', currently enrolment for this language course is around 5000 students.[3] Roots Millennium Schools also holds membership of Pasch schools network,[4] and membership of Intel Information and Communication Technology Curriculum.[5] Roots Millennium Schools also runs a teacher-training institute named 'Roots National Institute of Teacher Training & Education' through which it grooms and develops skills-sets of its faculty.[6]

Roots Millennium Schools Pakistan is a Cambridge International Examinations associated school, An edexcel International affiliated school, also an affiliate center of the University of London International Programmes United Kingdom, is a candidate school for International Baccalaureate IB Middle Years Programme, a Microsoft mentor status school 2014, a member of Goethe-Institut Pasch schools network. It was selected as one of the Arabia 500 fastest growing organizations in year 2012.[7][8] Roots millennium schools is accredited with Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC Pakistan) and Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.

Collaborations & partnerships

  • German language is taught at Roots millennium schools in partnership with foreign ministry of Germany and Goethe Institute.[9]
  • Partnership with The Indus Entrepreneurs TiE provides students with access to business competitions.[10]

  • Pakistan Red Crescent Society has signed a memorandum to train students of Roots millennium schools for community services.[15]
