R. S. Mangalam Big Tank is the second largest water storage tank in the State of Tamil Nadu [2][3][4]

Festivals

The most famous festival of Rajasingamangalam is Throvpathi Amman Temple festival. It is conducted by 18 villages. The festival is celebrated for more than 18 days. The highlight of the festival is Beman makeup (veemesam): the village people are made up like Bemen Throupathi round around their village and then go to the temple. At the end, Pookkuli festival is celebrated with the whole neighbor villages.
