Loyang is a subzone region located in the town of Pasir Ris in the East Region of Singapore. The region consists of three subzones, Loyang West, Loyang East and Flora Drive.[2]

The region is served with the exterior road of Loyang Avenue, which leads to Pasir Ris and Tampines and Changi City Point. Much of the industrial estate is dealing with aviation related services, due to its proximity to Changi Airport. The name, Loyang, was probably derived from the kampong that once existed in the area, Kampong Loyang. Before redevelopment took place, a mosque, Kampong Loyang Besar Mosque, used to be located in the area. Hence, the named was retained.

Landmarks

There is a famous Loyang Tua Pek Kong temple along Loyang Lane which attracts many devotees from all over the island.
