El Shorouk (Arabic: الشروق‎  pronounced [eʃʃʊˈɾuːʔ, eʃʃɪˈɾuːʔ], "the Sunrise") is a city located at the northeast of Cairo and at the north of New Cairo, in the province of Cairo, in Egypt, which is part of Greater Cairo.
