Petrophile crispata is a shrub endemic to Western Australia.[1]

The upright and open shrub typically grows to a height of 0.8 metres (2.6 ft). It blooms between September and November producing yellow flowers.

It is found in the Wheatbelt, Great Southern and Goldfields-Esperance regions of Western Australia where it grows in sandy soils over laterite.[1]
