Petrophile brevifolia is a shrub endemic to Western Australia.[1]

The erect, multi-stemmed and non-lignotuberous shrub typically grows to a height of 0.2 to 1 metre (0.7 to 3.3 ft). It blooms between May and December producing yellow-cream-white flowers.

It is found on sand plains and swampy areas in the Mid West, Wheatbelt, Peel and Great Southern regions of Western Australia where it grows in sandy soils over laterite or limestone.[1]
