The erect and open shrub typically grows to a height of 0.4 metres (1.3 ft). It blooms between July and September producing cream-white flowers.

It is found on slopes and flats in the South West and Wheatbelt regions of Western Australia where it grows in sandy-gravelly soils over laterite.[1]
