Petrophile aspera is a shrub endemic to Western Australia.[1]

The low shrub typically grows to a height of 0.2 to 0.5 metres (0.7 to 1.6 ft). It blooms between August and November producing pink-yellow-white flowers.

It is found on sand plains in the southern Wheatbelt region of Western Australia where it grows in gravelly-sandy soils over laterite.[1]
