Petrophile chrysantha is a shrub endemic to Western Australia.[1]

The erect shrub typically grows to a height of 0.3 to 1 metre (1.0 to 3.3 ft). It blooms between June and October producing yellow-cream flowers.

It is found in the Wheatbelt and Mid West regions of Western Australia between Three Springs and Gingin where it grows in sandy-gravelly soils over laterite.[1]
