Parliamentary Secretaries of the 7th Dáil

On 9 March 1932, the members of the 7th Dáil met for the first time. Éamon de Valera was appointed as President of the Executive Council by the Governor-General on the nomination of the Dáil. He proposed the members of the 6th Executive Council of the Irish Free State, a single-party Fianna Fáil government, and they were approved by Dáil Éireann for appointment by the Governor-General. The Parliamentary Secretaries were appointed by the Executive Council.[1]
